Top Arab hip hop artist Qusai Kheder will be appearing at the American University in Dubai (AUD) on Thursday evening as guest performer of the AUD Idol Finale which is modeled after the internationally known reality TV show American Idol.
Qusai is the first hip hop artist in the Arab world who can sing in Arabic and English and is the very first Saudi professional rapper. He will sing his latest hits such as Job and Any Given Day.
In July 2008, Qusai has released what is considered his first official album all around the Middle East market after signing with Platinum Records of the MBC Group. The album sold thousands of copies in its first week, becoming the number one on the Middle East Top Charts with a couple of music videos in hand.
As one of the known hip hop movement leaders in the Middle East, Qusai has worked with MTV Arabia as a host for the Hip HopNa Show. He eventually became a pioneer in finding the perfect blend and niche between Arabic music and hip hop.
Qusai possesses a bachelor’s degree in management information systems and a master’s degree in human resources from US universities.
