Total Jordan has signed an agreement to support the 'Madrasati' initiative launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah that brings together the public and private sectors for the restoration of public schools.

In line with its mission to expand its operations across the Kingdom, Total Jordan will be launching two service-stations in the north and south of Zarqa before the end of the year, and as part of their dedication to the Kingdom and particularly the Zarqa Community, they have made a contribution which will go towards Al Sebawayh School, located in Zarqa. This sponsorship aims to repair and restore the school to enhance the learning environment for the students by making necessary renovations and better equipping the school.

Mr. Arnaud Guichard, Managing Director of Total Jordan, stated, "It is part of our corporate social responsibility to support local initiatives such as Madrasati that aims to develop the Jordanian community and transform the level of education across the Kingdom." He added, "The Total Jordan team took part in the actual restoration of the school as it is our objective to contribute to a safer, brighter, better equipped and more inspiring learning environment for the youth of Jordan. We are very happy to be sponsoring Al Sebawayh School and providing our support to renovate and restore the infrastructure of the school."

Madrasati is designed in collaboration with the Ministry of Education as a student-centered initiative that brings together public, private and non-profit partners and encourages them to be active in their social responsibility towards education. The aim is to support approximately 500 public schools across Jordan, addressing their physical state and inspiring them with an enhanced learning environment.

Total Jordan is currently running five service-stations in Amman located on Queen Rania Al-Abdullah Street, Al-Yarmouk Street (Wadi Al-Remum), Jubaiha, Sweileh, and Al-'Abdali.

As part of its aim to provide customers with the highest standard of services, Total Jordan recently launched a unique diesel delivery service for individual and corporate customers known as Dafa Total, and has also expanded its distribution of TOTAL lubricants to include all shops across Jordan.
