Trader Vic's Amman Participates in Charity Tastings Event

Trader Vic's Amman recently took part in the charity event “Tastings”, organized by “Gift of Life Amman”, a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating life-saving surgeries for underprivileged children in the Middle East and Africa.

Hosted in the Jordan National Gallery Gardens, the “Tastings” event was arranged to collect proceeds for a critical heart surgery for a 7-month old Egyptian, Ahmad Ramadan, who resides in one of the refugee camps in Jordan.

Within its contribution, Trader Vic's set up a spot which was artfully decorated with tribal marks, antiques, and artifacts to reflect its tropical theme, and the staff served visitors a delectable array of its French and Polynesian cuisine.

"At Trader Vic's, the team can only be honored to lend a helping hand to those in need," said the Manager of Trader Vic's Amman, Alfredo Hernandez. "We hope that Ahmad's surgery will be carried out swiftly and successfully."

In turn, Gift of Life Amman voiced their appreciation for the unique contribution of Trader Vic's which they viewed as valuable and beneficial.
