Turkish Imams Accused of Hizbollah Ties

Turkey's Religious Affairs Department has suspended 11 Muslim prayer imams in the southeastern province of Batman, because of their alleged connections with the Lebanese Hizbollah group, reported the BBC.online.  

The department said inspectors had discovered the links and that the prayer leaders would remain suspended from duty pending the results of a full investigation, said the BBC. 

The department refused to give further details, the BBC said - Albawaba.com
