Turkish Police Arrest Illegal Immigrants

Turkish police have arrested 65 people for attempting to enter Turkey via Greece, reported the Turkish Daily News.  

Those arrested were reportedly from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Egypt, Iran, Bangladesh, Iraq, Morocco and Tunisia, as well as some Palestinians, said the paper.  

The would-be illegal immigrants said they had first crossed into Turkey illegally, and then entered Greece, but had been caught by Greek authorities and sent by boat back to Turkey – Albawaba.com
