Batelco’s Major Buildings & Transport Department has rewarded Abdulameer Attiya and Radhi Al Hawaj, who were named employees of the month for October and November 2006, at a recent ceremony held at Batelco’s Hamala Headquarters.
Mr. Attiya, a Building Services Engineer, looks after the maintenance and services for Batelco’s Salmaniya Complex and Mr. Hawaj, a Building Senior Controller, looks after power and fire systems at the Salmaniya Complex.
Both gentlemen were selected for their pro-active participation in various projects including Batelco’s Data Centre, High voltage power system replacement, the Falcon Project and TPH (Telephone House) Air Handling Unit replacement.
Batelco Human Resource & Services Unit General Manager Shaikh Ahmed Al-Khalifa presented Abdulameer and Radhi with certificates and financial rewards in appreciation of their outstanding efforts.
“It is thanks to the coordination and cooperation of both men with the various project managers that these projects were completed on time, safely and with minimum disruption,” said Shaikh Ahmed.
The award ceremony was also attended by Senior Manager Facilities, Security & Safety Steven Litherland, Major Buildings & Transport Manager Fadhel Al Shehabi and a number of Batelco Senior Managers.
