Two members of political opposition parties in Morocco died on Friday, October 29, in a road accident and two others were severely injured. <i>Maghreb Arabe Presse</i> reports that the opposition parties’ members were on their way to take part in a “reunion caravan” in the city of Smara, an initiative which was recently launched in order to reinforce the ties between the northern and southern regions of Morocco.
The two members killed were Sidi Ahmed Araquib Rguibi, from the political bureau of the National Democratic party (PND- leftist) and Abdallah Brou, the regional coordinator in Guelmim of the Justice and Development Party (PJD - Islamic opposition party represented in parliament) and the two injured were Abdallah Baha, and Abdelouahed Hdali from the PJD and PND parties, respectively.
