United Business Media's TechWeb Announces Black Hat Abu Dhabi 2010

Today Black Hat, the world's leading family of
information security events produced by TechWeb, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al
Nahyan announce the first ever Black Hat Abu Dhabi. The event will host top-tier
public and private sector security professionals from the Middle-East region as well
as industry researchers and underground hackers from around the world to dissect the
latest in information security. Developed through a partnership with the
Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (TRA) , aeCERT, Khalifa University of
Science, Technology and Research (KUSTAR), Black Hat Abu Dhabi will be held May 30 -
June 2, 2010.

"Cyber security is a top priority across the globe and we are happy to see Abu Dhabi
is taking the necessary steps to becoming a thought leader in security for the
middle-east region," said Jeff Moss, founder of Black Hat.

Black Hat Abu Dhabi will feature two days of deep technical training courses and two
days of briefings from leading experts in the security industry.  The event will be
hosted in a similar format to the other worldwide Black Hat Events attracting
security pros and researchers, local media, world renowned security experts and
researchers delivering class material and top tier sponsors and exhibitors.  Working
at many levels within the corporate, government, and underground communities, Black
Hat delivers unmatched informational reach and the newest vulnerabilities, defense
mechanisms, and industry trends.

Tariq Al Hawi, aeCERT Director, in his introduction of Black Hat Abu Dhabi, said,
"This conference is seriously important as it's the first step to introduce Black
Hat in Abu Dhabi as an annual event in the region, in partnership with TRA &
KUSTAR."

The Black Hat event series continues in Washington DC, January 31-February 3 at the
Grand Hyatt Crystal City, followed by Barcelona, April 12-15, 2010 at the Hotel Rey
Juan Carlos and Black Hat USA, July 25-30, 2010 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas,
Nevada.
