On Monday, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received in Abu Dhabi the visiting United States trade delegation headed by Samuel Bodman, US Deputy Secretary of Commerce, according to WAM.
On his part, Sheikh Khalifa welcomed the US delegation, expressing the hope that the visit would contribute in opening new avenues of commercial, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries.
In return, Bodman praised the achievements made by the UAE in all fields by the virtue of the wise policy of UAE President Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, as well as his successful vision in dealing with a number of current economic issues, the matter which made the UAE one of the most progressive countries in the world.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Marcelle Wahba, US Ambassador and a number of officials attended the meeting. (Albawaba.com)
