US Undersecretary of State for Middle East Affairs, William Burns, Tuesday stressed that Washington backs efforts aiming at reviving peace process on the Lebanese-Syrian track and holding negotiations for that purpose.
In a statement following talks with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa in Cairo, Burns said that the US encourages the two sides, Syria and Israel, to move forward and it backs any progress on all peace tracks.
