US Extravaganza Event at 1st Annual Masters of Excellence and The Best of British Still to Come.

The 1st Annual Masters of Excellence excelled themselves with an amazing second night impressing a crowd of international fashionistas.  Guests and visitors were privy to unique collections of the most prestigious and exclusive lifestyle brands in haute couture fashion, fine jewellery, unique watches, luxury tableware, and yachts which will be on show until 11th May at Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi.

The audience enjoyed a catwalk show of the crème de la crème of US Designers Calvin Klein, Donna Karan and stunning fine jewellery from the Marquesa Collection by Harry Winston.   Calvin Klein brought to the runway a spring collection with ‘light as air’ accents a must for any tropical climate. Donna Karan introduced strong colours; graphic oriental prints with unstructured form to a stunning evening wear collection.  Guests also enjoyed a gastronomic delight with an American twist prepared by 3-star Michelin Chef Pierre Gagnaire.

Under the Patronage of HH Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Planning and Economy, the elite lifestyle exhibition is organised by Emotion Events and supported by Al Dar, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Abu Dhabi Motors, Beauty Palace and Etihad Airways all as Platinum Sponsors.

Antoine Preziuso, Parmigiani, David Morris, Vianney Halter, Graff, Chopard, Piaget, Harry Winston, Bulgari, Boucheron, Tiffany, De Grisogono and the Chanel banner on an enviable list of jewellery and watch brands that will captivate the fancy of the A-list crowd expected to attend the exhibition.  In addition a number of the world’s finest specialist craftsmen will be demonstrating their skills live during the event.

 

Another showcase of the Masters of Excellence exhibition are the tableware and art de vivre house exhibits, which will highlight luxury brands such Hermes, Puiforcat, Haviland, Saint Louis, Christofle, Baccarat, Bernardaud, Daum, Villeroy & Boch, Jean-Louis Coquet, Lalique, Nymphenburg Porzellan, and Ercuis-Raynaud to name a few.

An amazing yacht exhibition will serve as the exhibition’s concluding highlight, featuring the world’s most luxurious yachts, such as Rizzardi, Primatist, Benetti, Azimuth, Ferretti, Pershing, Elegance Yachts, Marquis and Formula. They will be on display at the Emirates Palace’s recently completed 60-berth docking area and lavishly appointed marine facilities that rival the best and most exclusive marinas in the region.

The Gala event continues on Wednesday with the ‘Best of British’ from Matthew Williamson, Giles Deacon and fine jewellery by Graff.
