ALBAWABA - A man was caught on camera setting a mosque on fire while two people were inside in East Sussex, in the United Kingdom.
British police opened a probe into the case of a suspected arson attack at a mosque in East Sussex.
A doorbell caught the moment of two assaulters setting a mosque on fire, before it was put out by firefighters. The clip showed one person on the steps at the entrance of the mosque pouring a liquid before setting it on fire, while the other person was seen waiting at the bottom. Both men were wearing balaclavas.
A person was seen rushing to escape from inside the mosque after the fire erupted.
According to Sky News, a report was received by emergency services of the fire in Peacehaven at about 9.50 p.m. on Saturday, Sussex Police detailed.
British Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood decried the arson attack and called it "deeply concerning".
