Visiting Austrian president discusses boosting ties with Iran

Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi and visiting  

Austrian president Thomas Klestil held a meeting Sunday in Tehran and discussed the expansion of bilateral relations and regional and international developments.  

 

Klestil, on his part, said relations between the two countries are based on mutual interest and have had a growing trend.  

 

"We hope that the trade exchange between the two nations will increase 10-fold in the future," he said, according to IRNA news agency. 

 

The Austrian president, for his part, said the results of talks between Iran and the EU have been positive and constructive. 

 

Kharrazi said relations between both countries can be closer in all areas based on mutual respect and interest. (Albawaba.com)
