Twice daily Flights Will Leave From New Royal Terminal in Kuwait
Wataniya Airways, Kuwait’s new full service luxury airline, has announced that it will be bringing forward its first scheduled flights to Saturday, January 24th 2009 due to the early arrival of its first Airbus A320 aircraft from France. The airline will operate twice daily to Dubai from that date (full details below)
The new premium airline’s luxury departure point in Kuwait will be the Royal Terminal and this will be the first time that any commercial flight in Kuwait will have taken off from a location other than Kuwait International Airport. This provides a fitting setting for what will be a superior guest service both on the ground and in the air from the region’s first new premium airline to be launched in recent years.
Wataniya Airways Chairman & Managing Director Abdul Salam Al Bahar said that the announcement was the successful culmination of more than a year’s careful and complex preparations, “I am thrilled to be able to finally announce the date of our first scheduled flight and demonstrate the new heights we wish to achieve for this Kuwaiti airline. This has been a labour of love for a team of dedicated and committed professionals to bring the planning of this project to a successful conclusion”
Wataniya Airways commenced its ticketing operations in November, providing its guests with a range of convenient methods to obtain their tickets. Bookings can be made by either calling the Guest Contact Centre on 118 or 24379999, via the website (www.wataniyaairways.com) or through a preferred travel agent.
