Wataniya raises the bar with Tools for Business 2006

Wataniya Telecom, Kuwait’s Red Carpet Company, yesterday hosted Tools for Business 2006, the first seminar of its kind in the country, that brought together innovation leaders who aim to make the concept of mobile business a reality in Kuwait. The seminar, which was held at the Salwa Al Sobah ballroom, comprised of a series of speeches, a case study and a panel discussion. The day long event was inaugurated by Mr. Faisal Al Ayyar, Chairman of Wataniya Telecom.

“Wataniya Telecom is defining and innovating new services based on the needs of its corporate customers which today place Kuwait at the forefront of the region’s mobile services market. The seminar featured high profile Jarmo Hostio, Senior Manager, Channel Development EMEA, Enterprise Solution, Nokia and Fredrik Thunberg, Marketing Manager-Enterprise Strategies, Ericsson that addressed the process of integrating and mobilizing a business, respectively. The case study was presented by Al Masar Group Co, who has already incorporated an array of Wataniya’s B2B tools into their businesses. “Wataniya Telecom is delivering true value for Kuwaiti organizations and has a clear vision for the development and growth of business support services in Kuwait moving forwards,” said Saud Murad, General Manager, Al-Masar Group Co. “The future of enterprise communications will be based on empowering businesses with the right tools and that is already evident in the increase in connectivity and efficiency within our organization.”
