The draw for the sixth World Junior Women's Basketball Championships in
Tunisia will take place on March 19. A total of 12 teams will participate in the Under-18 event, which will be held from July 15 to 24 in 2005.
Mr. Mahmoud Bedoui, the president of the championship's organisational committee and also the president of the Tunisian Basketball Association (FTBB) the day of the draw will be "a day of celebration." "There will be several high profile guests at the event, including maybe a couple of NBA players, as well as several stars from the region," he was quoted as saying by the local press.
