ALBAWABA - Gaza's militia leader, Yasser Abu Shabab, was killed in the Gaza Strip, Israel's Channel 12 reported on Thursday.
According to Israeli media, Yasser Abu Shabab was killed at the hands of unknown armed men.
Abu Shabab is a Palestinian militant and the leader of the Popular Forces, which is an anti-Hamas armed group in the Gaza Strip.
During the Gaza war, which lasted for two years, the Popular Forces, led by Yasser, worked along with the Israeli army against Hamas.
Some sources reportedly said that he was killed at the hands of a Hamas fighter; however, the Palestinian group has not made any announcement regarding the killing of the militia leader.
