Fresh attacks by al-Qaeda militants in Yemen killed at least 40 security personnel early Friday, Al Arabiya’s correspondent reported.

Two car bombs exploded at a military camp in the governorate of Shabwa, in southern Yemen.

The cars were driven to the camp by suspected members of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), a local source told Reuters.
