A top Houthi leader, activist, and journalist was assassinated on Wednesday by an unidentified gunman riding a motorcycle, reports Shaab News.
Abdul Karim al-Khaiwani, a prominent member of the Houthi Revolutionary Council, died instantly due to a gunshot wound to the head.
His body was immediately transferred to the University of Science and Technology hospital after the incident , which happened near his home in Sanaa.
Al-Khaiwani represented the Houthis at the National Dialogue Conference.
