Zad’s Catering Division signs agreement with Tantash Group’s industrial investment division
Providing its pioneering food services to Middle East Pharmaceuticals and Arab Centre for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries
Zad’s Catering Division, part of Zad Industries and Services, and Jordan’s largest industrial food caterer, has announced the signing of an agreement with Tantash Group’s industrial investment division, and the commencement of delivering services.
Zad will be providing its pioneering food services to Tantash’s industrial investment division including Middle East Pharmaceuticals (MidPharma), and Arab Centre for Pharmaceutical and Chemical Industries (ACPC), Jordan’s leading pharmaceutical products manufacturers and one of the largest local producers of branded generics.
“We are honored to be signing this agreement with Tantash Group, in particular, MidPharma and ACPC. It is a great opportunity for us to start supplying the Jordanian pharmaceutical industry with our services, which will unquestionably demonstrate our ability to provide quality food products with optimum hygiene and compliance to safety procedures to the leaders in this field,” said Rodney Woolliscroft, General Manager, Zad.
Upon this agreement Zad will be providing its food services on a daily basis to the employees of Tantash Group in two locations; MidPharma in Baq’a, and ACPC
in King Abdullah II Industrial City in Sahab. “Lunch meals are transported safely to our client’s premises ensuring consistency of temperature, hygiene and quality of food - through the deployment of examination measures and service quality indicators - and then are placed in highly presentable, and efficient to use, serving stations,” said Abdelhaleem Humood, Zad’s Marketing and Customer Relations Manager.

To ensure maximum consistency of hygiene – an absolute “must” for the pharmaceutical industry - Zad has utilized a focused quality management programme manifested in a specialized microbiology lab on site to check all phases of production from storage to delivery to ensure food safety, in addition to controlled storage facilities that ensure different types of foods to be stored in accordance with their optimum storage environment.

Working in accordance with international food safety procedures such as ISO and HACCP will be the main competitive advantage we offer in this enterprise,” concluded Woolliscroft.
