Zebra Technologies Corporation, the global provider of on-demand printing solutions, has recently appointed Dara McKenna as Media Supplies Specialist based in Zebra’s regional head office in Dubai’s Jebel Ali Freezone. This appointment is to further cement Dubai’s position as the regional sales centre servicing the Middle East, Indian-Subcontinent and African Region.
Zebra’s Media Supplies offer secure labeling to various industries in different environments such as the Oil, Petrochemical and Industrial Manufacturing industries amongst many.
According to Paul Garner, Zebra Technology’s Dubai based Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East, India and South Africa, Zebra’s high quality label solutions can offer large-scale industries the means of long-term secure tracking in extreme environments, such as those in the Gulf and Indian Subcontinent regions. High humidity, high heat and often salty air environments such as those experienced in off shore oil rigs, means that Zebra’s specialist labels can offer support and tailor a solution through technical expertise located at our regional office.

Ms McKenna will be offering specialist advice on custom and stocked labels as well as providing a regionally based internal sales support which aims at increasing the level of service Zebra can offer our partners,” said Mr Garner.
“Our partners can communicate directly with the Dubai branch office to obtain quotations and processing of purchase orders as well as communicate any specialist enquiries without delay. Dara is on hand to improve Zebra’s support to their distributors and resellers in the market thereby increasing sales revenues,” added Mr Garner.
Dara KcKenna has 6 years regional experience having worked at Astrolink Global Services Corporation, an American satellite telecommunications company. Following Astronlink, Dara played an integral part in setting up the British University in Dubai, a research-based postgraduate institute offering accredited degrees from top UK universities. Prior to joining Zebra her experience branched into marketing financial administration services to multinational companies and financial institutions.
