ALBAWABA - American commentator Candace Owens was recently banned entry to Australia after her Visa application was rejected by the country over "Antisemitic" comments about the ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza. This all comes amid the commentator's preparations to visit the country for her upcoming speaking tour in Nov. 2024.
According to The Guardian, Australia's immigration minister Tony Burke said that Ownens "has the capacity to incite discord in almost every direction". He added, "Australia’s national interest is best served when Candace Owens is somewhere else".
The Sydney Morning Herald reported that Owens was refused entry to Australia "following a history of antisemitic, anti-Muslim and transphobic comments".

Burke further added that Owens also "Downplayed" the impacts caused by the holocaust after her comments about Nazi physician Josef Rudolf Mengele.
Moreover, Alon Cassuto who is the chief executive of the Zionist Federation of Australia was pleased to hear that the country denied Owens entry.

She was scheduled for a "five-dating tour" with events taking place in several of Australia's cities including Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.
Her comments about several subjects have always received mixed reactions on social media platforms across the board making her one of the most controversial commentators in the U.S.
