ALBAWABA - Al Jazeera journalist Hamza Al Dahdouh, son of Wael Al Dahdouh, was killed in an Israeli raid along with his colleague Mustafa Thurayyah.

An Israeli attack targeted the car of journalists Hamza Al Dahdouh and Mustafa Thurayyah in Khan Younis, southern Gaza on Sunday.

Hamza Al Dahdouh's family, including his mother and siblings, were killed in an Israeli attack in October on Gaza shortly after the start of the Israeli aggression against the strip.

Hamza Al Dahdouh's last Instagram story has caught the eyes of many pro-Palestinian activists. The journalist's last post, which was about 50 minutes before the attack, displays two corpses covered in shrouds.

The Government Media office in Gaza raised the number of journalists killed in Gaza to 109 following the killing of Hamza Al Dahdouh and Mustafa Thurayyah.

The Media Office released a statement condemning the tragic event. "We condemn in the strongest terms this heinous crime: "These continuing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army against journalists are aimed at intimidating them and is an unsuccessful attempt to blur the truth and prevent them from reporting the ongoing genocide".

In December, Al Jazeera journalist Wael Dahdouh was injured in an Israeli attack, but his colleague Samer Abudaqa was killed in the attack.
