ALBAWABA - Hamza Al Dahdouh, son of AlJazeera journalist Wael Al Dahdouh, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike along with his colleague Mustafa Thurayyah that directly targeted their vehicle in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
The killing of Al Dahdouh and Thurayyah rounds up the number of journalists killed in Gaza to 109, according to the Government Media office in Gaza.
The Media Office released a statement condemning the tragic event. "We condemn in the strongest terms this heinous crime. These continuing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation army against journalists are aimed at intimidating them and is an unsuccessful attempt to blur the truth and prevent them from reporting the ongoing genocide".
Later in October, and while broadcasting live during, covering the brutal Israeli aggression on Gaza, journalist Wael Al Dahdouh learned his family had been killed in an Israeli airstrike, where he lost his wife, his daughter Sham (aged 7), his son Mahmoud (aged 15), and a grandchild along with 21 other family members.
