ALBAWABA - Social media users posted a photo of a giant surveillance balloon claiming that this was a military balloon made by Egyptian hands.
The photo was shared on Facebook along with the caption: "The first official appearance of the new Egyptian radar reconnaissance and obstruction system."
Thousands of likes and comments were made on the post, with many allegedly claiming that this balloon was "specially made by the Egyptian army for any upcoming war".

The picture of a balloon which is said to be a military reconnaissance balloon made in Egypt, is in fact an old photo of an American military balloon, AFP reported.
The published photo of the balloon is related to military news and aviation equipment, and AFP posted a picture of the same type from 2014 taken in a military base in Maryland in the United States.
The JLens balloon is a surveillance balloon that provides the US Army with early warnings in the event of threats.
