ALBAWABA - Hours before his death, Axios reported that U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham joked about pushing through sanctions against Russia, hours before dying.
The report indicates that Graham spoke to Trump by phone regarding the Russia sanctions bill, stressing that he wants the Senate to vote on it soon. Trump also told Graham that he was preparing to launch fresh strikes on Iran after the Islamic Regime attacked another ship in the Strait of Hormuz.
Another person who spoke to Graham shortly after his call with Trump stated that the U.S. Senator was not feeling well. He joked hours before passing, "I can't die now. I still need to do the Russia sanctions, get Iran sorted out, and do Israeli-Saudi normalization."

Besides pushing for sanctions against Russia, Lindsey Graham also wanted to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel and end the war against Iran.
U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who is known for being a close ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, died at the age of 71 on Saturday.
The Office of U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) released a statement on Sunday: "On the evening of Saturday, July 11, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham passed away from a brief and sudden illness. Senator Graham's family appreciates prayers at this time and asks for privacy during this incredibly difficult period."
According to NBC News, emergency personnel were called over a "cardiac arrest" at Graham's Capitol Hill home.
