ALBAWABA - A Syrian YouTuber landed in hot water after sharing a video of a chocolate she received on Eid Al-Adha in Egypt that included a Middle East map without borders.

The map included the hashtag #الحدود_تراب (which means borders are soil) triggering wide anger among Egyptians who accused her of implementing a new agenda.

Syrian YouTuber Batoul left Turkey for Egypt to treat her ill daughter but she was surprised to see the hashtag she added to the map trending on social media.

According to the Syrian Beirut and the mother of three daughters, one of whom suffers from atrophy in her feet muscles after severe encephalitis, added that she went to Turkey in 2015, and stayed in the state of Kayseri for 9 years, then moved to Egypt last February.

According to the Syrian YouTuber, who shares videos about her daily life, she felt very cosy in Egypt that she was among her family as she was treated well by Egyptians and that she didn't feel like a refugee as she was when she was in Turkey.

On Eid Al-Adha, she decided to make a friendly gesture and distribute candy and chocolate to people in the street, but she was shocked to find herself trending online.

Batoul said that one of the women in the street gave her little daughter the chocolate that included the map and she was making a vlog so she took a video of the chocolate her daughter received from a random woman.

However, many people online cut the original clip and accused the Syrian YouTuber of being the one who distributed the chocolate with the Middle East map.
