ALBAWABA - A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) recently sparked outrage among animal rights activists after capturing an Israeli man kicking stray cats in public.
Many social media users called for the arrest of the individuals responsible, accusing them of animal abuse. One video showed a man calling the stray cat, gently petting it, then standing up to kick it, in the Susya settlement in the West Bank on January 18.

Video: Israeli man sparks outrage for kicking stray cat
The viral clip shared by TRT World on X garnered nearly half a million views, prompting Israeli animal welfare organisations to demand the arrest of the individual who kicked the innocent animal.
TRT World reported that the man kicked the cat "just for fun."
Other clips dating back to 2024 captured two Israelis kicking stray cats. All videos prompted a flood of angry comments from social media users who condemned the violent act.
An X user wrote, "They are a sick and sordid people." Another added, "Poor little thing just wanted some scritches. These people are evil!"
