ALBAWABA - A video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) stirred debate after capturing a man from Wyoming calling 911 on an Amazon delivery worker for speaking Spanish to him. Social media users dubbed the man "MAGA grandpa."
The Amazon delivery driver was filming the interaction when the "MAGA grandpa" also picked up his phone and began filming. The man then asked the driver, who appeared confused, "Why don't you talk?" The driver replied in broken English that he's an Amazon delivery worker.
The man didn't seem to care that he received his order, further pressuring the delivery worker about why he didn't speak English. The deliveryman tried to de-escalate the stressful situation by leaving the man's premises and wishing him a good night.

However, the man followed the delivery worker to his car and started taking pictures of its license plate. He then called the police, stating that the delivery worker and his partner, who was in the car, couldn't speak English. The man told the delivery worker to "go back to Colorado."
According to several reports, this all comes after the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been executing large-scale immigration enforcement operations across the nation under the orders of the Trump administration, including large raids and arrests on a mass scale.
The video flooding X and other social media platforms sparked a wide variety of reactions, with many users taking to the delivery worker's side.
A social media user wrote, "This Wyoming racist grandpa harassing a hardworking Amazon driver over an accent is the ugly face of MAGA hate, hope Amazon bans him forever."
Another tagged Amazon, its CEO, Jeff Bezos, and wrote, "How can you let your workers be treated this way?"
