The Arab Cup kicked off in Qatar with an amazing, breathtaking opening ceremony which was attended by Arab leaders and gained a huge attention for mixing old and modern Arabic culture icons and trends; thus bringing together the interests of several generations in the region.
Qatar has shown a great readiness ahead of the World Cup expected to kick off in 2022 for first time ever in the Middle East.
The Arab Cup, which was held on Tuesday at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, hosted dazzling holograms for several Middle Eastern artists including Fairouz, the Egyptian star Saeed Saleh, and the Kuwaiti Abdul Hussein Abdul Reda.
Not only real figures, but also the famous, historical character “Juha” was brought to life to send special messages about the past and future of the Arabs.
A portrait of Egyptian diva Oum Kalthoum was also seen during the opening ceremony of the FIFA Arab Cup 2021.
