Dakar Rally 2021 in Stunning Black and White Photos

Dakar Rally launched on Saturday Jan. 9th in Saudi Arabia. It is considered the world's most grueling event in motorsport's calendar held in the Kingdom.

The event first kicked off in 1979 between Paris and the Senegalese capital. However, it was moved for the first time in Saudi Arabia last year after a decade in South America.

Moreover, the Dakar move decision is part of the Kingdom's "2030 Vision" to enhance its openness. Riyadh has recently held high-profile football and boxing matches and will also hold its first Formula One Grand Prix in 2021.
