Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta praised the performance of young talent Myles Lewis-Skelly following their 2-1 victory over Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium in the 21st round of the Premier League.
Arteta stated, "I think this makes everyone at the club incredibly proud because he's been part of our system for a long time, and we know the quality of training our academy provides to prepare our players for the future".

Arteta further highlighted the young star's performance, saying, "We have to pick them when we believe they're ready, and in his case, it was very early and in a different position, as he had never played as a full-back before. But he responded in the way he plays, and it’s a pleasure to watch. It's very rare to see".
Regarding Arsenal's chances of competing for the Premier League title this season, Arteta was firm, stating, "We are in the title race because there is still much to play for, and we can see how difficult it is for every team to win".
