Brazil confirm Gabriel Martinelli injury

Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli has suffered an injury in his right calf during training with Brazil's national team.

The 23-year-old has already had an MRI scan, to reveal the extent of damage, according to the Brazilian Football Federation.

The winger will remain at the national team camp, to receive further treatment.

Martinelli scored twice in 13 caps for Brazil, and has been pivotal for Arsenal this season, with two goals and two assists in ten competitive appearances across all tournaments so far.
