Chelsea are preparing a bid to sign Bayer Leverkusen sensation Florian Wirtz, according to the Express.
The Blues are set to enter the transfer market in search for a replacement to Kai Havertz who was sold to Arsenal in the summer.
Chelsea signed Havertz from Leverkusen in 2020 for €80 million, and are now planning to bring in Wirtz.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder is valued at €85m, as per Transfermarkt.
However, the young star is also being followed closely by the likes of Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Wirtz made 17 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen across all competitions this season with five goals and eight assists to his name.
