Saudi Pro League side Al-Shabab have signed former Fiorentina midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura.

The Italian star moves to the SPL club as a free agent after the end of his deal with the Viola.

He signed a one-year deal with the option to extend for another season.

The 34-year-old had spells at Serie A giants AC Milan and Atalanta, among others, but is now about to embark on a new adventure abroad.

Bonaventura featured in 162 matches for Fiorentina across all competitions, with 22 goals and the same number of assists to his name.
