Manchester City are planning to enter the race to acquire the services of Bayern Munich talent Jamal Musiala.

The 20-year-old is reportedly unhappy with his current situation unter Thomas Tuchel.

Musiala feels that he has earned a starting spot in Bayern's first team, but his boss has opted to name him as a substitute for games against Bayer Leverkusen, Bochum and Freiburg.

The current situation has attracted the attention of Manchester City along with Liverpool, according to Football Insider.

The Germany international reportedly earns around £83,000 a week under his current contract which runs until the summer of 2026.

However, the Bundesliga champions are preparing a new deal for their rising star and are confident of tying him to fresh terms in the near future.
