Manchester United scouts were present at the Anoeta Stadium to witness Real Sociedad's 1-0 win over RCD Mallorca in La Liga on Saturday.
The English club sent scouts to watch Sociedad pair Martin Zubimendi and Takefusa Kubo, as per Football Transfers.
United has identified Zubimendi as a successor for veteran Casemiro, while Kubo is believed to be considered as a replacement for Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils are set to enter the winter transfer market in January in pursuit of reinforcements following a disappointing start to their Premier League campaign.
