Mohamed Salah continues to deliver a phenomenal season with Liverpool, but despite his outstanding performances, the team has struggled to capitalize on his efforts. Once again, the Reds have dropped crucial points in the dying moments of matches.

In the clash against Newcastle, Liverpool trailed before Salah turned the game around with two crucial assists. However, the team failed to hold onto their lead, conceding a 90th-minute equalizer. A similar scenario unfolded in the Merseyside Derby against Everton, where Salah provided an assist and scored a goal, only for Liverpool to throw away victory with a 98th-minute equalizer.

Mohamed Salah: A Record-Breaking Season in the Premier League

Salah has been Liverpool’s most decisive player in away matches this season, securing eight points on the road—a tally that could have been 12 had the defense held firm. His individual brilliance, however, has not been enough to stop Liverpool from dropping vital points.

The Egyptian superstar has now cemented his name in Premier League history, becoming the player with the most goal contributions in away matches in a single season, with 23 goal involvements so far. This record-breaking achievement underscores his immense impact on the league.

Liverpool’s Dependence on Salah Reaches New Heights

Overall, Salah has been directly involved in 46 goals in 35 matches this season, including 36 goal contributions in the Premier League. He leads the league comfortably ahead of Alexander Isak (22 goals). Even more impressively, his goals account for 62% of Liverpool’s total goals, highlighting just how reliant the team is on him.

With such an extraordinary individual season, one big question remains: Will Salah finally get the recognition he deserves, or will Liverpool’s defensive instability cost him a shot at the Ballon d’Or?
