Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic believes his illustrious career witnessed "several primes" including the current period.

The 36-year-old has 24 Grand Slams thus far and was runner up on 12 occasions.

He has been ranked ATP's No. 1 player for a record total of 403 weeks in a record 13 different years.

The Serbian insists he was at his best on more than one occasion during his overall career.

Djokovic said as quoted by Tennis World USA: "I was fortunate to have several primes during my career. 2011 was the first best year where I had a run of over 40 matches won without any loss. The first loss came, I don’t know, after 10 tournaments, midseason. That was the first time I won three Slams in a year."
