Monza are nearing a deal for former Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

The veteran shot stopper left Paris Saint-Germain this summer after the end of his deal.

Monza were hoping the 37-year-old would be in Italy on Monday for his medical and to sign the deal.

However, the two sides are yet to agree on all the details, but reports insist the Costa Rican great will put pen to paper with the Serie A club this week.

Navas will arrive to replace Michele Di Gregorio who left Monza to join Juventus in a €14.3 million transfer.
