Manchester United are reportedly planning to keep Sofyan Amrabat for the remainder of this season at the very least.

The Morocco international arrived to Old Trafford from Fiorentina on-loan in the summer, though has struggled for regular minutes.

However, the Red Devils want to keep hold of the 27-year-old for the full loan, even though he will be competing in the Africa Cup of Nations with his country this month.

TMW says that Amrabat is set to return to Manchester United once his participation in the tournament ends.

The defensive midfielder made 17 appearances for United across all competitions thus far this season.
