Away from the storm of criticism over her participation in the popular talent show Arab Idol as one of the judges, UAE singer Ahlam is in the process of preparing for her upcoming album. The album is scheduled for release in the very near future under the production of ‘Rotana’.
Ahlam has worked with a number of young poets and composers among who are Iraqi composer Waleed Al Shami, who had presented Ahlam with a number of songs like “Ala Rasi” and “Istur Ya Sater” both written by Saudi poet Ahmad Ilwi. Once the songs are ready, Ahlam will record the songs at one of the high tech recording studios in London.
During her repeated trips to Beirut, Ahlam reached an agreement with Lebanese director Randa Alam to film one of songs from the album in the form of a music video.
