Prominent Syrian actor Saloum Haddad will be taking part in three different television dramas to be aired during the holy month of Ramadan. Saloum has close to completing filming his scenes in the drama “Al Umaymi” that is written by Suleiman Abd Al Aziz and directed by Tamer Ishaq.
Saloum was offered the role of ‘Murad Bayk’, which was previously to be played by the late prominent Syrian actor Khaled Taja but his health condition and death led the makers of the drama to nominate Saloum.
The second drama Saloum will take part in is the drama “Zaman Al Barghouth” that is written by Mohammad Al Zayed and directed by Ahmad Ibrahim Ahmad. Saloum will play the role of “Abu Najeeb”, who despite his exaggerated wealth is a very stingy man whose wife dies from illness and hunger.
The last drama Saloum acts in is “Rafit Ayn” written by Syrian actress Amal Arafeh and directed by Al Muthana Subh. The drama is a social one that includes numerous humorous scenes.
