A total of US$25.2 million was spent on advertising during the first quarter of this year, up 3.6 per cent compared to US$24.3m during the same period last year.
According to GDN, print media in Bahrain dominates with 72 per cent, with some 60 per cent which goes to newspapers and 12 per cent to magazines.
It is followed by television with 23 per cent, cinema with 2 per cent, outdoor advertising with 2 per cent and radio with 1 per cent.
