Families in one of Bahrain's poorest villages are still waiting for work to start on a promised renovation scheme. Al Salhiya was chosen for the scheme to improve homes and other facilities some two years ago, but so far nothing has been done, Manama Municipal Council member Sadiq Ahmed Ali Rahma told the GDN.
According to the paper, the project is part of a nationwide plan to renovate homes and facilities in some of Bahrain's poorest villages.
