The Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) is to be expanded by 3,000-square-metres, by the end of 2005 or the outset of 2006. According to GDN, Bahrain Convention and Exhibition Bureau acting chief executive Abdul Rahim Al Saeedi said that the extension would be built in front of Hall Two and take up a part of the parking lot.
"Currently we have a total area of 14,000-square metres between the two halls," he commented.
