Sheikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of the Economic Development Board, praised on Monday the approval of the Bahrain-US Free Trade Agreement (FTA) by the US House of Representatives.
Khalifa made the comments while on a visit to the US as part of a Bahraini delegation, saying that the agreement signaled growing confidence of the US in Bahrain's economy, according to <i>Gulf News Daily</i>.
Ambassador Tawfeeq Al Mansoor, the permanent representative of Bahrain to the United Nations, hosted the reception in New York for the visiting delegation.
