According to AZZAMAN newspaper, the Central Bank of Iraq announced that it is planning to fight inflation and to achieve monetary stability in Iraq particularly after the noticeable rise in the prices through the past few months.
The central bank promised to use all available instruments to achieve that goal. The bank added that although the general prices grew noticeably in the recent months, it did not affect the consumers' purchasing power. The bank called all related parties and authorities to fight inflation and to stabilize the monetary and financial situation in Iraq.
