Commercial Bank of Syria aims at increasing capital
The Commercial Bank of Syria aims at raising its capital to SP7 billion instead of the current SP4 billion. In the framework of increasing it competitiveness capabilities, the Commercial Bank issued a decision to decrease the internal mailing charges to be 0,00001%.
The new service came in parallel to swift remittance service which does not exceed 5 minutes.
According to SANA, General-Director of the Commercial Bank of Syria Dourid Dergham said that the new commission aimed at utilizing the potentials of the bank and to expand the base of its clients.
The Commercial Bank of Syria has paid SP12 billion as taxes to the treasury last year.
The Commercial Bank of Syria was established in early 1967, in order to serve the economic and commercial activities in Syria. The bank has over fifty branches spreaded all over the provinces and major towns in the country.
