An unexplainable development: Egypt's car sales up 56% despite lifting of subsidies

It is not "unexplainable" at all. People make major purchases such as cars when they have hope for a better future. They see the government creating new programs to develop infrastructure (roads, schools, hospitals, etc.). No doubt many believe their country is turning around.
